I am with Carl, he said it best there is nothing more to say. I was just too dumb to think you actually stopped making it and went to a lot of different stores looking for The TRIPLE PEPPER SALSA!!!! We put it in spaghetti sauce, soups and of course with chips and mexican food. BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK! Thanks for listening, John

Carl,

Thanks for taking the time to post this! Very well written and passionate. Letters like this might actually inspire other people to write in or post here in on the boards and maybe enough interest will be generated that Pace will give Triple Pepper Salsa another try.

I sure hope so, as I'm one of the people who never got to try it before it was gone.

Hope you stick around the forums and continue to post! People like you are a definite asset to the community!

I've been meaning to post something about Triple Pepper being discontinued since I found out about it, which was months and months ago. Below is the message I submitted to product feedback. I hope that people have used the product feedback form in addition to posting here in the forum.

Pace,

Please read this!

Discontinuing the Triple Pepper Salsa came as a real body blow to me. You don't understand how many different salsas I've tried over the years - I've hardly ever bought the same salsa twice, always hoping that the next one I buy will be the one I stick with. Triple Pepper was the answer. The end to the never ending taste test. It was simply the best jarred salsa ever conceived.

And then it was gone. A body blow. Pathetic, I know, but do you know how I know it was discontinued? I know because I was so disappointed and confused about it disappearing from the shelves that I hit the internet and it led me to your forums where the notice was posted. I've never cared enough about a product to actually search the internet to figure out what happened to it, let alone fill out out a feedback form.

I'm not alone. There are at least two threads in your forums about Triple Pepper and they are filled with posts from disappointed people like myself. And for every one person that actually posted a message about it, there are probably 100 or 1000 more out there that are just as disappointed. They just haven't posted. They are living in silent salsa hell.

I think you could be missing out on a really neat ad campaign here. Bring back the Triple Pepper. Market it and it will sell. Feature real people from the forums in the commercials and make it a focus of the ads that Pace responded to a ground swell of customer feedback and is reintroducing Triple Pepper for them, us, the customers. Triple Pepper, Back By Popular Demand!

Please. Bring. Triple. Pepper. Back.

Sincerely,

Carl C

Joseph,

Well, you certainly enjoy the heat more than I do! I'm actually more of a picante fan myself, though would never turn down a good salsa, and tend to stick with the mild and medium heat level. Adding jalapenos might actually kill me. LOL.

I do think that the "plain", old fashioned salsa/picante is best. No need to get too crazy with all sorts of odd flavors. ;)

My best friend and actually, my boy friend as well, love spicy foods and agree with you that the hotter the better is the way to go, so long as you don't compromise the flavor.

Karen, just the good ole fashion chunky medium salsa. Im not too fond of the flamboyant type salsas. The hotter the better! I usually add about half of a jar of jalapenos to the medium to make it HOTTT and chunkier. ;)

Joseph, thanks for the reply! And man, I can imagine what a shock it was for you to see that expiration date! LOL

I did a little research on the net and found out that products which are "shelf stable" (meaning they don't need to be refrigerated before opening), are usually good for 2 -3 years as long as they have been sealed.

Once you open a jar, you probably have about 5-7 days before it starts to go bad. Of course, if this salsa is a good as everybody says it is, this should not pose a problem for you. ;)

Really glad to have you joining the Pace community and hope you find more reasons to stick around. Out of curiosity, what was your favorite salsa before Triple Pepper Salsa stole your heart?

Karen, im very sorry to hear you never heard of the TPSalsa. I, myself havent heard of it untill TODAY, and picked up a jar due to not finding my usual medium chunky salsa at a local store. Upon opening, the smell was overwhelming. I couldnt wait to dip a chip into it and taste what my nose was telling me i had been missing all my life. The taste put my favorite medium chunky salsa to SHAME!! so 6 chips later, i found myself studying the jar to find out the ingredients and whatnot. Then i saw the expiration date, Dec of 2008!! I thought to myself, oh man!, what have i done. It was SO good tho!, even 2 years passed the exp date!! So i try to call the pace hotline to find out if its ok to eat the rest with no avail. So i hit google and wahlah, here i am. Reading the forum and seeing all the ppl who like me, LOVE this product, BEGGING pace to bring it back. I dont know if it was a good thing for me to eat this salsa, though it tasted GREAT!, the local store i bought it from had ALOT of jars on the shelf. Makes me wonder what kind of store this is to have a product on the shelf 2 years passed the exp date. However, this is the BEST salsa ive ever had! Better than my gfs homemade salsa that i cant live without. I dont know if i should buy more, report the store, or what to do. There are alot of ppl who like it alot tho. Maybe i should buy the remaining stock and sell on ebay, LMAO. Im TORN!

I asked this once before, but no one had a chance to reply. I'm really curious what makes this particular salsa so good? I had never tried it, or really even heard of it, until they stopped making it and all the passionate Triple Pepper Salsa fans started asking about it and pleading for Pace to bring it back.

So what is it that makes this salsa so much better than all the rest? What is missing in other salsas that make them fail to measure up?

Bring this back and you can have all those other weird salsas you kept. I want to taste salsa, not vinegar or fruit juice.

Shocked alright, since I just tried this perfect salsa that I bought at Big Lots and found out that its been discontinued, guess I'll have to go buy the remaining stock at Big Lots.

I tried this on a couple off deep fried chimi's with sour cream on a bed of iceberg lettuce and it was just great!

Great all by itself on corn chips, too!

Bring it back please.

I thought maybe it was my store that decided not to stock this item. Why or why would you discontinue the Triple Pepper Salsa? It had a great flavor and the right amount of heat.

Just when I found a prepared salsa I liked, poof.... it's gone. I am in mourning.

Unfortunately, I came across Pace Picante and started cooking with it after the Triple Pepper Salsa was discontinued, so I've never had the opportunity to try it.

What was it that made it SO delicious?
