The other day I was experimenting in the kitchen, and had an idea. What if I puree Pace in a blender, reduce the mixture until it's thick, and use it as a spread? So I tried it. It took a while to get the right consistency, and I wound up adding some sugar to it, but otherwise I left it as is.
The result was a king of a thick gooey, red jam. After I cooled it off, I took a piece of sourdough, spread some unsalted butter on it, then laid on pace jam(this is how I eat all jams). It was incredibly delicious, but as I was eating it, I couldn't help but feel like somehow I was betraying the Pace brand and David Pace's original vision.
Does any one else use Pace in ways that are unusual?
