star - you are definitely onto it... i pretty much put any protein in a tortilla with some cheese or something and top with picante for a quick meal or snack... usually do it with leftover meat (chicken, ground beef, steak, rotissary chicken from sams club is always an easy winner, etc), add some cheese, 30-60 seconds in micro, then add picante for that fresh crunchy zing, and good to go... great way to make leftovers exciting and tasty.
Hey bass, I love salsa on eggs, yummy stuff! Also like to layer some refried beans on a tortilla shell, top with salsa, some fluffy scrambled eggs, a bit of chopped avocado and some grated cheese, then roll it up to make my own breakfast burrito. Give it a go, I'm bettin' you'll like it.
that's right, breakfast for dinner! Who says you have to eat eggs only for breakfast. I love scrambled eggs with some Pace drizzled on top...yummy. Anyone ever try an omelet with salsa inside?...hmm, maybe i'll experiment tonite.
